Michigan saw wind gusts peak at over 90 mph as severe thunderstorms ravaged the state Sunday.
The severe storms left three dead in a Kalamazoo County crash and the two largest utilities in the state – DTE and Consumers Energy – reporting over 182,000 customers without power as of 8:25 a.m. Monday. The National Weather Service reported wind damage and power outages from the storms, with peak wind gusts reaching near 100 mph.
