Masters Tournament 2025

The 89th edition of the Masters Tournament moves into the second round on Friday, when the field will be narrowed down to the top 50 golfers (including ties) for the weekend.

Justin Rose (-7) is atop the 2025 Masters leaderboard after Thursday’s first round, but tournament favorites Scottie Scheffler (-4), Rory McIlroy (E) and Bryson DeChambeau (-3) are among the those in close pursuit after promising performances during the opening 18 holes. On the other end of the spectrum, LIV Golf regulars Jon Rahm (+3) and Phil Mickelson (+3) are among the notable names off to slow starts and in danger of missing the projected cut line at this year’s Masters.
