Brilliant Ronaldo at 39 years old sets unprecedented record, fans wait for CR7 to reach 1000 goals

Right in Al Nassr’s first match of the new 2024/25 season, Cristiano Ronaldo made a big mark.

The Saudi Arabian Super Cup semi-final went quite smoothly for Al Nassr. They quickly opened the scoring against Al Taawoun thanks to Yahya in the 8th minute. In the 57th minute, Ronaldo doubled the gap. The Portuguese superstar executed a very precise connecting kick in the penalty area.

Al Nassr won 2-0 in this match to enter the final of the Saudi Arabian Super Cup against Al Hilal. As for Ronaldo personally, he not only had that joy but CR7 also had the honor of setting a record of becoming the first player in history to score in 23 consecutive seasons.

Ronaldo’s familiar celebration

Ronaldo’s first goal as a professional player came in October 2002, when he scored a brace in Sporting Lisbon’s match against Moreirense.

This is a record that will be very difficult to break in the future. It is worth mentioning that, although Ronaldo is on the other side of his career, he has no intention of stopping. The Portuguese superstar is still playing very hard. He even aims to conquer the 2026 World Cup.

The first title of the 2024/25 season awaits Ronaldo and his teammates. Meanwhile, fans of the striker born in 1985 are waiting for CR7 to reach the milestone of 1000 goals in his career. Currently, Ronaldo has 896 goals in all tournaments.

Sport Bible noted some notable comments: “Ronaldo is getting closer and closer to the 1000-goal milestone; I am sure Ronaldo will reach 1000 goals before retiring; I will be very happy when Ronaldo reaches 900 goals and then conquers the 1000th goal; Ronaldo has reached 896 goals and of course this is not the limit of this player”.
