According to many sources, former Real Madrid defender Fernando Hierro has expressed his desire to join Al Nassr as Technical Director. This position was previously held by former Barcelona player Goran Vucevic.

Currently, Hierro is holding the same position at Mexican club Guadalajara. However, due to receiving an offer from Al Nassr, the team nicknamed “Chivas” is looking for a suitable replacement for Hierro.

The former Real Madrid defender joined Chivas in 2022 after a short period as coach and Sporting Director for a Spanish football team. In 2014, Hierro was also an assistant coach for Real Madrid, where he worked with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Hierro had a successful time at Chivas, helping the team reach the Liga MX Clausura final last year. However, an offer from Al Nassr with an attractive salary made him decide to change direction.
