ＤｅＮＡのタイラー・オースティン内野手（３３）が来季も残留することが３日、分かった。
オースティンは２０年にＤｅＮＡに入団。２１年オフに３年契約を結び、４年目となる２５年に関しては延長オプションを球団が保有している。球団が同オプションを行使して、来季はＤｅＮＡ６年目を迎えることになる。来日５年目の今季は１０６試合に出場し、打率３割１分６厘、２５本塁打、６９打点の活躍。初めて規定打席にも到達し、初タイトルとなる首位打者に輝いた。開幕当初は２番に座ったが、終盤は４番として主軸を担い、強力打線をけん引。日本シリーズでも左足甲の打撲を抱えながら存在感を発揮し、献身的な姿勢を見せ続けた。
また、先発ローテーションを守り、ポストシーズンでも活躍したジャクソン、ケイも残留の見通し。今季４３登板したウィックも残留が濃厚で、ウェンデルケン、途中加入したフォードは未定だ。
