JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Jackson State University capped off an impressive season with a win over South Carolina State in the Celebration Bowl.
The Tigers’ defense was on full display as they held the Bulldogs scoreless up until the fourth quarter, with the final score being 28-7.
Those seven points are the fewest points allowed in Celebration Bowl history.
This also marks Jackson State’s first Celebration Bowl win in program history.
