“College GameDay” is returning to Notre Dame for one of the Irish’s biggest home games ever in the College Football Playof era.
College football’s top pregame show with Rece Davis, Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit, Pat McAfee, Lee Corso and Desmond Howard will be on-site ahead of Friday night’s CFP first-round matchup between No. 7 seed Notre Dame (11-1) and No. 10 seed Indiana (11-1, 8-1 in Big Ten play).

It is the first of two “GameDay” shows on the weekend, and the first trip back to South Bend for the “GameDay” crew since Week 4 of last season.
Marcus Freeman’s squad brings a 10-game win streak and a top-three-ranked scoring offense and defense into Friday’s contest against Curt Cignetti’s Hoosiers.

Where is ‘College GameDay’ location on Friday?

- Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
The “College GameDay” crew will travel to Notre Dame on Friday for the first of two “GameDay” shows during the CFP first-round weekend. Friday’s special edition of “College GameDay” will start at 3:30 p.m. ET from the Library Lawn on Notre Dame’s campus in South Bend, Indiana.
It is the first time that “College GameDay” has returned to Notre Dame’s campus since Week 4 of the 2023 season, when the Irish hosted Ohio State at Notre Dame Stadium.
Saturday will be the second time Notre Dame has been featured on the show this season, while it will be the third for Indiana.

Friday’s special edition of “College GameDay” will precede the lone College Football Playoff game of the day between No. 7 seed Notre Dame and No. 10 seed Indiana at 8 p.m. ET.
ABC and ESPN will broadcast Friday’s CFP first-round game with Sean McDonough, Greg McElroy, Molly McGrath and Katie George.
Following Friday’s show, “College GameDay” will take the near four-and-a-half-hour drive southeast to Columbus, Ohio for Saturday’s CFP first-round game between No. 8 seed Ohio State and No. 9 seed Tennessee.
