“Just for the record, I’m going to absolutely annihilate this motherf—er on Saturday night,” Tyson Fury declared when he was a guest on Ariel Helwani and Ade Oladipo’s Ariel & Ade show this week on DAZN. Fury was, of course, referring to Oleksandr Usyk, the man he’ll be fighting on Saturday, Dec. 21, a rematch of their May bout in which Fury lost the WBC heavyweight title to Usyk in a split decision. Up for grabs this Saturday are the three heavyweight titles that Usyk currently holds, the WBA, WBO and WBC belts. The May defeat marked Fury’s only professional loss, and he’s seeking his revenge at Usyk vs. Fury 2 by accelerating his training and imposing severe restrictions on himself in the lead-up to the fight.
