Xavier Worthy injury vs Texans: Latest news on Chiefs WR

During the first half of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 16 showdown with the Houston Texans, rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy sustained an injury that took him out of the game.

After he left the field to be examined, the Chiefs downgraded his status to questionable.

Worthy injured his ankle while playing against Houston this afternoon. There is no information on the severity of his condition yet.

Before halftime, his status was downgraded to questionable to return. Ideally, Worthy can bounce back and make it on the field again, but he may need time to recover.
