With the first college football transfer portal window closing soon, there are still some big-name players looking for their next landing spot. 

One of them is Alabama running back Justice Haynes. The one-time five-star prospect rushed for 616 yards and nine touchdowns over the past two seasons in Tuscaloosa. 

Haynes had previously been linked to both Ohio State and Michigan, but the latest intel by On3’s Pete Nakos ($) states that South Carolina and Michigan are in the lead with Ole Miss right behind them. 

Moreover, Nakos gave a big update on Haynes and mentioned that the former Crimson Tide RB could be set to land $500,000 in the portal.

Haynes has a current valuation of $397,000, per On3, so the former Crimson Tide ball carrier landing half a million dollars would be a big deal.

The NIL deals rumored around college football are quite something, and it was reported that Duke QB Darian Mensah is set to earn $8 million over two years. 

With NIL evolving, players are not just seeking more playing opportunities, but also a better NIL package to earn some benefits. 

Haynes is a big name to keep an eye on in the portal, and he could command a hefty payday wherever he ends up.
