NFL looking into allegations against Ravens K Justin Tucker of inappropriate behavior during massage sessions

Six massage therapists accused Ravens kicker Justin Tucker of inappropriate behavior during massage sessions, in an article published by the Baltimore Banner on Thursday. The incidents allegedly took place between 2012 and 2016 in the Baltimore area.

Tucker has denied the allegations, which span his first five seasons in the NFL. The league said Thursday it is looking into the matter.

“We first became aware of the allegations from the reporter investigating this story as they were not previously shared with the NFL,” a league spokesperson said in a statement. “We take any allegation seriously and will look into the matter.”

The article reported that multiple massage therapists ended Tucker’s “sessions early or refused to work on him again” because of his “egregious” behavior. The Banner also reported that two spas banned Tucker from returning.

According to the article, an attorney who specializes in sexual abuse and harassment cases is representing four massage therapists who “shared similar experiences about Tucker.”

After the story was published on Thursday, Tucker released a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, in which he categorized the allegations as “unequivocally false.”

“Throughout my career as a professional athlete, I have always sought to conduct myself with the utmost professionalism,” Tucker said. “I have never before been accused of misconduct of any kind, and I have never been accused of acting inappropriately in front of a massage therapist or during a massage therapy session or during other bodywork. I have never received any complaints from a massage therapist, have never been dismissed from a massage therapy or bodywork session, and have never been told that I was not welcome at any spa or other place of business.”
