AFC playoff scenarios for Week 18 Sunday games

To start out Week 18, the Baltimore Ravens clinched the AFC North division title with a 35-10 win over the Cleveland Browns on Saturday and then the Cincinnati Bengals kept their playoff hopes alive with a 19-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

One spot remains to be clinched and playoff seedings are still up for grabs.

Let’s have a look at the playoff and playoff seeding scenarios that can be determined on Sunday.

AFC Week 18 playoff scenarios

Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals took care of their own business on Saturday by beating the Steelers. To make the playoffs, they need the Denver Broncos to lose to the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins to beat or tie the New York Jets.

Denver Broncos

The Broncos can clinch the No. 7 seed in the playoffs with a win or tie against the Chiefs or if the Dolphins lose to or tie the Jets.

Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins make the playoffs with a win and a Denver loss.

L.A. Chargers

The Chargers will clinch the No. 5 seed in the conference with a win over the Las Vegas Raiders. If they lose, they will be the No. 6 seed and the Steelers will be No. 5.
