Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s on-off romance came to an end (at least for the foreseeable future) during Fox’s pregnancy with the couple’s first child. Now, their baby girl has arrived, and the exes—who were reportedly not on speaking terms in late January—are in a better place.
A source told People shortly after Kelly announced their daughter’s birth yesterday that “whatever issues they have, Megan and MGK both are on the same page when it comes to co-parenting. Right now they’re amicable.”
That insider added that, yes, the formerly engaged couple could reconcile someday. “No one would be surprised if they gave their relationship another try down the line,” the source said. “But right now they’re focused on what’s best for their daughter.”
Kelly announced his daughter’s birth shortly after she was born. He shared footage of her and wrote on Instagram, “she’s finally here!! our little celestial seed ”
Fox broke up with Kelly in November after she “found material on MGK’s phone that was upsetting,” TMZ wrote at the time.
In February, a source told Us Weekly that Fox wanted their breakup to stick. “Megan is moving forward independently and is not interested in revisiting the past,” the source said. “Megan is focused on her pregnancy and not looking back. She is deeply hurt by how things ended but is focusing on healing.”
The insider added that her ex was still hopeful about their future: “MGK would like to reconcile, but Megan is firm in her decision to move on. She does not see a future with him anymore. She doesn’t want to put herself in the same position again with him anymore. She wants to break the cycle.”
