Having a baby changes your relationship with your partner in one way or another. And since Megan Fox welcomed a baby with her ex-fiancé Machine Gun Kelly this week, we’ve been wondering — are these two back together? Is their relationship on good terms? And what is the baby’s name?? (OK, the last one has nothing to do with the status of their relationship, but we are curious nonetheless.)
First, where do things stand now between Fox and Kelly? New sources reveal they are focusing on co-parenting in a positive way. Insiders told PEOPLE today, “Whatever issues they have, Megan and MGK both are on the same page when it comes to co-parenting,” the source said.

Amicable could mean many different things, so it’s unclear if they’re back together or if they are just not fighting — definitely a good place to be when there’s a new baby in the equation. At the very least, they are on good enough terms for Fox to allow MGK to come visit the baby after she was born. (If she knew about him publicly announcing it is unknown.)
The couple has had an up and down relationship, but the source told PEOPLE that things might be looking up after their baby girl arrived. “No one would be surprised if they gave their relationship another try down the line,” the insider told the outlet. “But right now they’re focused on what’s best for their daughter.” Good for them!
Yesterday, MGK revealed the baby news on Instagram. “she’s finally here!! our little celestial seed 3/27/25” he captioned a black-and-white video. In it, the “Sun to Me” rapper shared a clip of himself holding his baby girl’s hands on his chest, while he practices skin to skin.
In his Instagram story, he also shared the video about how he worked with other artists to create music for the birth. “we composed the score of the birth,” he wrote. “born into 432HZ what an epic journey praise god ” He also tagged Travis Barker, Big Slim, and other musicians.
Notably, the Jennifer’s Body star hasn’t posted anything about the baby since her birth announcement in November, where she shared a picture of her naked body covered in black slime and wrote, “nothing is ever really lost. welcome back ”
Fox and Kelly called it quits a few weeks later, and drama has been brewing between the rapper and Fox’s ex-husband Brian Austin Green, with whom Fox shares sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8. Earlier this week, MGK DM’d the Beverly Hills, 90210 actor and encouraged him to back off from asking when the baby is due.
“Stop asking when our child is gonna be born. you the FEDS ” MGK wrote to Green, in a screenshot shared to Green’s Instagram story. He added, “Quit calling TMZ and focus on that apology you owe me for speaking my name in public. You chose the wrong one to f— with mr child actor. go back to cereal commercials.”
Green responded to that message writing a cheeky, “I didn’t know ‘child actor’ was something bad,” he wrote. “Leo, careful. He may be coming for you next
.”
Green’s fiancé Sharna Burgess, with whom he shares 2-year-old son Zane, seemingly weighed in on the drama too. The Dancing With the Stars alum wrote on her Instagram story in a since-deleted post, “That was about the equivalent of a dog pissing on its territory making it known it’s back in the area,” she wrote, per E! News. “So eloquently put too. Bravo.”

In another slide (which is still up), she wrote about co-parenting. “When kids are in a split household the greatest thing you can do is make them love and feel safe in both homes, like both homes are also friends and share love and communication,” Burgess wrote.
“We work to always keep our language and experiences positive, and when talking about their other home we always talk about it with love and support,” she continued. “A successful co parenting relationship starts with communication and respect.”
Burgess noted that Green’s kids with Fox “are so excited about the arrival of their baby sibling” and that her and Green “are excited FOR them.” “They have been asking nearly every day of their arrival for about a month now,” Burgess went on. “Naturally when they ask us to find out how mama is doing, we say no problem and do just that.”
Then she seemingly called out MGK, writing that a stepparent’s responsibility is one of “selflessness, empathy, loyalty, honesty, an open heart and patience.”
“If these are not qualities you consider yourself to have or be able to develop, than [sic] you should ask yourself if you deserve to be in their lives. Because they deserve the absolute best,” Burgess added. “Just a little FYI for anyone who needs it.”
