Aurora Board of Trustees to hold public hearing on zoning amendments

The Village of Aurora Board of Trustees will convene for a public hearing and regular meeting on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Aurora Firehouse Meeting Room, located at 456 Main Street.

The public hearing will address Local Law #3 of 2024, which proposes amendments to the Village Zoning Law. Residents are encouraged to attend and provide input on the proposed changes. The full text of the amendments is available for review at the village clerk’s office and on the village website at www.auroranewyork.us.

Following the hearing, the regular meeting will cover several agenda items, including:

  • Budget modifications and approval of bills.
  • Reports from the Village Historian and the Code Enforcement Officer.
  • Discussion of the Guardicloud Risk Assessment Report and a donation agreement.
  • New business items such as a resolution for an NBRC Grant RFQ, appointing a Village Park Committee, and hiring Louis Hasenjager for seasonal work.

The meeting is open to the public, and attendees will have the opportunity to comment on agenda items.
