It was a big night for the Brotherhood as three former Duke stars went off in the playoffs Friday night.

Jayson Tatum, who was originally not supposed to play in Friday night’s game between Boston and Orlando due to a severe bruise in his shooting hand, did play.

How well did he play?

Tatum racked up 36 points, nine rebounds and four assists (unfortunately he also had seven turnovers).

Paolo Banchero had 29 for Orlando with six rebounds as the Magic got the win, 95-93.

As the various Celtics pointed out, in Game 1, Tatum hurt his wrist, in Game 2, Krsytap Porzingis saw his forehead split open and in Game 3, Jaylen Brown was thrown to the floor by Cole Anthony and dislocated a finger.

Meanwhile, in Milwaukee’s 117-101 win over Indiana, former Blue Devil Gary Trent tied the franchise record for threes, hitting 9-12 from behind the line. He finished with 37, matching teammate Giannis Anentokounmpo with 37 total.

And while those three members of the Brotherhood did well, coach JJ Redick saw his Los Angeles Lakers fall at Minnesota, 116-104. The T-Wolves now lead that series, 2-1.
