Cam Skattebo’s Girlfriend Flexes Outfit for Arizona State-Texas Game

Cam Skattebo and the Arizona State Sun Devils fell just short of the College Football Playoff semifinals, falling to the Texas Longhorns 39-31 in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on New Year’s Day.

Skattebo, the senior running back out of Rio Linda High School (Rio Linda, CA), entered the game as one of the better offensive players in the nation. He was named to both the first-team All-American and All-Big 12.

Prior to the quarterfinal battle, Skattebo’s girlfriend, Chloe Rodriguez, showed off her outfit in an Instagram Story. She notably wore a customized light denim jacket with “SKATTEBO” and the number “4” printed on the back in yellow and white, representing her boyfriend.

“Game time,” Rodriguez captioned her story while tagging Skattebo.

Rodriguez graduated from Sacramento State University in 2024, where Skattebo played during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. She has also worked as a gymnastics instructor. Her outfit comes from designer Kennedy Rettew, who has previously customized shoes for Los Angeles Chargers center Bradley Bozeman as part of the NFL‘s “My Cause My Cleats.”

Skattebo was arguably the best player on the field in the Peach Bowl. The ball carrier recorded 30 carries for 143 yards and two touchdowns. He also tallied eight catches for 99 yards, a 42-yard touchdown pass and a two-point conversion. His performance earned him the Peach Bowl MVP.

In 13 games played in the 2024 college football season, Skattebo recorded 293 carries for 1,739 yards and 21 rushing touchdowns. He showed off his dual-threat ability as well, with 45 catches for 604 yards and another three scores.

Arizona State finished the season with an 11-3 record and a Big 12 championship win in their first season in the conference. This also marked the program’s first-ever CFP appearance.
