Chase Hooper had a unique excuse after putting on a lackluster display at UFC 314.
The latest big-time MMA pay-per-view show had several wild moments during the early prelims.
A welterweight fighter tried to wrestle veteran referee Marc Goddard after being badly knocked out.
Fans also called for a judge to be fired before Jim Miller squared off against Chase Hooper, who was just six years old when his latest opponent debuted in the UFC in 2008.

Miller got off to a great start with submission attacks and ground strikes
However, the 41-year-old soon found himself stuck with Hooper on his back during an entertaining first frame that showcased their respective BJJ skills.
The 25-year-old rising star quickly worked his way to Miller’s back again as he dominated with his grappling for the vast majority of the second stanza.
It was more wrestling dominance from Hooper in the third and final round.
Miller fended off leg lock and twister attempts, but he was unable to mount any type of offense as he slumped to a decision defeat against the man 16 years his junior.
Ultimately, the judges scored the fight 30-27, 29-28, and 29-28 for Hooper, who made it five wins in a row with relative ease at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
Hooper was pretty down on his performance, despite picking up a career-best win.
Still, his managed to slip in a joke during his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan.
“I spent too much time gooning this camp,” Hooper admitted.
“My forearms are a little sore, so I’ve gotta walk that back a little bit.”
The rising lightweight star’s X-rated admission appeared to go over Rogan’s head, but fight fans watching along at home found it absolutely hilarious.

“Chase Hooper did what this camp?!” a third fan said.
“Chase Hooper is a real goner,” someone else commented.
“Did I just hear chase hooper say they he was gooning too hard this camp??” a fifth baffled fan wrote.
