Cincinnati Bengals troll Pittsburgh Steelers after huge win

The Cincinnati Bengals trolled the Pittsburgh Steelers after their 19-17 win on Saturday night. Now, the Bengals will have to wait to see if they make it into the playoffs.

After their win in the Acrisure Stadium away locker room, the Bengals blasted’ Renegade’. While most teams will celebrate and play some music, this is the first I can recall that it is Renegade they played.

The Steelers’ tradition of playing ‘Renegade’ by Styx has continued for over two decades since it was born in 2002 at the team’s playoff game against the Cleveland Browns. It used to be a rallying cry for Pittsburgh, played every fourth quarter.

However, more teams are using ‘Renegade’ either as a striking point to hit back at the Steelers. Over the last few seasons, multiple opponents have talked about how little effect the song actually has in stadium and that it instead energizes both teams equally.

As a divisional opponent, it is not surprising the Bengals are celebrating with the song. Now, if they want the win to count for a playoff berth, the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins each have to lose.
