The ESPN “College GameDay” crew is headed to South Bend, Indiana, for the first round of the College Football Playoff, covering a matchup between No. 7 Notre Dame and No. 10 Indiana.
“College GameDay” has traveled across the country all season, previewing some of the biggest games of the year with a star-studded cast that includes Kirk Herbstreit, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, Desmond Howard, Lee Corso and Rece Davis.
The crew will welcome a special guest in South Bend on Friday when they share their predictions for the duel in Indiana.
On Friday, “College GameDay” announced that renowned comedian Shane Gillis will be the celebrity guest picker for Notre Dame-Indiana.
Gillis is one of the most well-known stand-up comedians in the nation. He has over two million followers on Instagram and almost 626,000 on X. Gillis has also been featured on the Netflix comedy “Tires.”
He joins an incredible list of celebrity guest pickers from the 2024 season, including Michael Phelps and Marshawn Lynch.

While the crew will be in South Bend on Friday, they’re set to make a quick turnaround for a doubleheader.
On Saturday, “College GameDay” will be in Columbus, Ohio, previewing a matchup between No. 8 Ohio State and No. 9 Tennessee.
Ohio State heads into that first-round matchup as a 7.5-point favorite, per ESPN BET.
Friday’s special edition of “College GameDay” begins at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
