“Don’t Know If Our Place Made It”: Mandy Moore And Her Family Evacuated From The Devastating California Fires

As numerous fires rage around parts of the Los Angeles area, Mandy Moore is among the residents who evacuated their homes for safety.

On Tuesday, Mandy shared on her Instagram story that she, her children, and her pets left their home and were safe.

“Evacuated and safe with kids, dog and cats. Praying and grateful for the first responders,” she wrote.

Mandy has three children with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith. She welcomed her youngest child, a daughter named Louise, in September.

She shared an update on Wednesday, saying in another Instagram story that she doesn’t know if her home is making it through the fires.

“Grateful for the kindness of friends that we had a place to land last night,” she wrote. “Trying to shield the kids from the immense sadness and worry I feel.”

“Praying for everyone in our beautiful city. So gutted for the destruction and loss,” she continued. “Don’t know if our place made it.”

Mandy included the hashtag #eatonfire. The Eaton fire is one of several engulfing the area. There are also the Palisades, Hurst, and Woodley fires.

She shared another update on Wednesday. Mandy posted a video of Altadena, an area of Los Angeles County, facing the brunt of the fires. The footage showed destruction on the side of the road from the fires. “This is Altadena. Level. My sweet home. I am devastated and gutted for those of us who’ve lost so much. I’m Absolutely numb,” she wrote.

According to CBS News, the Eaton fire had burned 10,600 acres by Wednesday morning.

The publication also reported that 30,000 residents were forced to evacuate due to just the Palisades fire.
