SAN FRANCISCO — For the first time since 2014, the Florida Gators have punched their ticket to the Final Four. They defeated the third-seeded Texas Tech Red Raiders, 84-79, in the Elite 8 on March 29. Official Gators Final Four gear and merchandise became available online immediately after the victory.
It marks the sixth Final Four in program history and the first since 2014. The last national championship game appearance came in 2007, securing back-to-back national championships.
