Donna Mills is boarding The Odyssey on Doctor Odyssey.

Donna Mills shocked soap fans with her guest-starring role on Doctor Odyssey. The hit medical drama is a theme every week. Thursday’s episode is Sophisticated Ladies’ Week. The General Hospital alum dropped a major teaser that shows what fans can expect.

Each week, the primetime soap has guest stars. This week, Mills makes her mark on the cruise, which is celebrating Cougars’ Week, a.k.a. Sophisticated Ladies’ Week. Mills joins country singer Shania Twain, who’s reprising her role as Heather. She first appeared in Episode 2 as a guest during Singles Week.

Heather didn’t want to date again, but her daughter convinced her to give it a shot. Heather was attracted to Captain Robert Massey (Don Johnson). The two bonded over losing their spouses. Heather promised Captain Massey that she would return to The Odyssey, and she finally has.

It looks like Heather is getting friendly with the captain once again. She’s not alone. Mills has her eye set on Dr. Max Bankman (Joshua Jackson). The Knots Landing alum is dressed in a glittery gown as they dance. “Are you attached to me?” she asks. “I should be so lucky,” the doctor responds with a smile.

“The trailer just dropped for my episode of Dr. Odyssey. Airing this Thursday night on ABC,” Mills wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. The preview also shows that Jaclyn Smith joins the women in on the fun. As always, a medical emergency happens on board.

Thursday’s episode took a dramatic turn with a contagion. Dr. Bankman freaked out, recalling when he was the first COVID-19 patient. “This cannot be happening!” he exclaimed. Captain Massey tells Dr. Bankman to handle this crisis “tactfully.” The next scene flashes to Heather, who appears to struggle to breathe. Will she survive? How will the medical crew stop the virus from spreading? Tune in on ABC on Thursday, March 27, at 9 p.m. ET.
