Jalen Hurts’ longtime girlfriend Bry Burrows and the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback are in the process of planning a wedding. The couple announced their engagement during the 2024 NFL season. 

Hurts met his future wife during his college football days as the Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback prior to transferring to the Oklahoma Sooners. The Eagles star popped the question with a romantic beachside proposal. 

Hurts’ gesture even included a violinist as the couple celebrated the special moment back in September 2024, per Essence’s Victoria Uwumarogie. 

“Burrows, who is an AI partner for IBM, met Hurts while they were studying at the University of Alabama; she a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., he the school’s star quarterback and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.,” Uwumarogie wrote.

“They’ve dated on and off since then and went public with their relationship in 2023.”

Burrows was spotted on the field as the Eagles celebrated punching their ticket to Super Bowl 2025 following the NFC championship. Prior to their engagement, Hurts described his relationship with his future fiancee as an “irreplaceable feeling.”

“I knew a long time ago,” Hurts said of Burrows during an April 18, 2023, interview with Essence’s Danyel Smith. “I mean, to this point in my life, that’s an irreplaceable feeling. I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now.” 

Hurts is hoping to add another ring to the couple’s collection as the Eagles look to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl LIX.
