MLB Opening Day is finally here and Mets fans are ready to rep blue and orange as their team plays in Houston.
The Mets had one of the most memorable seasons of its history in 2024, with purple fuzzy mascots, Latin pop hits and good luck pumpkins bringing them all the way to the National League Championship Series. It was the farthest the team had gotten since 2015, the last time they made the World Series.
Fans of New York baseball were hoping for the magic of the 2024 Mets to bring the team all the way to the World Series along with the Yankees, but Shohei Otani and the Los Angeles Dodgers came out on top and ended up defeating the Yankees to bring the World Series championship home.

King of Queens Francisco Lindor, first-baseman Pete Alonso and newcomer Clay Holmes are also expected to be major assets to the team this year.
