Ernie Johnson isn’t with the “NBA on TNT” on Thursday after his sister, Christine, passed away.
Adam Lefkoe was filling in for him on Thursday and wanted to take a second with the rest of the crew and pray for Johnson. Johnson’s sister passed away on Wednesday after a battle with cancer. She was 72 years old.
“Ernie, we are thinking of you. We are praying for you and your wonderful family,” Lefkoe said.
NBA fans have joined the TNT crew and are giving their prayers for Johnson on social media.

“Ernie has dealt with a lot of loss in the past few years. So sad for him,” one fan tweeted.
