WELL, WE ARE COUNTING DOWN THE HOURS UNTIL THE FLORIDA GATORS FACE OFF AGAINST THE HOUSTON COUGARS FOR THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. WESH TWO SPORTS DIRECTOR DAREN STOLZFUS HAS BEEN FOLLOWING UF AS THEY CHASE A CHAMPIONSHIP AND TAKES US INSIDE THE STADIUM IN SAN ANTONIO FOR A PREVIEW OF TONIGHT’S GAME. GOOD MORNING FROM SAN ANTONIO, WHERE TONIGHT THE FLORIDA GATORS WILL PLAY FOR A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE ALAMODOME IS GOING TO BE ABSOLUTELY ROCKING. MORE THAN 68,000 FANS WILL BE HERE AS FOR THE FIRST TIME, A TEXAS TEAM PLAYS FOR A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE LONE STAR STATE. THAT’S PRESSURE, RIGHT? WELL, ACCORDING TO TODD GOLDEN, NO, THE PRESSURE IS ALREADY GONE FOR THIS GATORS BASKETBALL TEAM. I THINK WE CAME INTO THIS NCAA TOURNAMENT WITH WITH SOME PRESSURE AFTER WINNING THE SEC TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP. YOU KNOW, WE WERE WE WERE PLAYING FREE AND LOOSE FOR A LONG TIME LEADING UP TO THAT. ONCE WE GOT HERE, WE KIND OF FELT LIKE WE HAD THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD OFF OUR SHOULDERS IN TERMS OF WE MADE THE FINAL FOUR AND NOW IT’S JUST TIME TO WHOOP, YOU KNOW, GO OUT THERE AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. AND THAT’S DEFINITELY HOW I FEEL NOW GOING INTO TOMORROW NIGHT. AFTER THE GATORS BEAT THE AUBURN TIGERS SATURDAY NIGHT, THEY WALKED OFF THE FLOOR SAYING, ONE MORE LEFT. BUT AS TOMMY HAWK PUT IT IN THE LOCKER ROOM YESTERDAY, IT IS THE BIGGEST BOX POSSIBLE LEFT TO CHECK TONIGHT.
