Nicholas Galitzine is showing off his bulked-up physique as he prepares for his role as He-Man in the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Masters of the Universe.
On Dec. 18, the actor shared a photo on his Instagram Stories standing next to his lit up Christmas tree. The 30-year-old’s massive physical transformation was striking; his defined muscles were visible under his long-sleeved white t-shirt. He was also sporting black shorts and a longer hairstyle.
Galitzine first announced on Instagram that he landed the role of He-Man in May after several actors were previously linked to the role, including Kyle Allen and Noah Centineo.
“By the Power of Greyskull, I HAVE THE POWER,” Galitzine wrote at the time. “I’m so beyond proud to announce that I will be playing Adam, Prince of Eternia in ‘Masters of the Universe’. It has been a dream for so long to play someone of his heart, humour and heroism, I cannot wait to get started.”

“We’re thrilled to bring the beloved ‘Masters of the Universe’ to life and couldn’t be more excited to announce the immensely talented Nicholas Galitzine as our He-Man,” said Julie Rapaport, head of film production and development at Amazon MGM Studios, Variety reported. “This reintroduction of the character and his universe will be an epic film that will delight audiences from here to Eternia.”
The film is based on the popular Mattel action figure line that inspired the 1980s animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The franchise has since expanded to include the spin-off series She-Ra: Princess of Power and the live-action 1987 film Masters of the Universe, among other projects.
The new movie from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films will be directed by Travis Knight and written by Chris Butler from an initial draft by David Callaham, and Aaron and Adam Nee, according to a press release.
The Masters of the Universe film is expected to hit theaters June 5, 2026.
