No Russell Wilson for the Browns as he signs $10.5M deal with the Giants; is Carson Wentz next in line? Joe Flacco?

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Russell Wilson won’t be the Browns’ bridge quarterback this season, and will be the Giants’ starter instead.

Wilson, 36, is signing a one-year deal with the Giants worth $10.5 million, with incentives worth up to $21 million, according to NFL Network. It’s likely more than the Browns were willing to pay him to be their possible temporary starter until their rookie is ready.
