TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Kansans are experiencing power outages on Sunday morning as the winter storm arrives.

According to Evergy’s outage map, customers in the Topeka and Lawrence areas are experiencing a power loss. At 8:33 a.m., estimation times for restoration are unknown due to the winter storm.

As of of 8:33 a.m., 167 active outages were reported with 6,987 customers out of power.
