Corporate media is tripping over itself, finding ways to attack President Biden for pardoning his son. Literally every major news org has published scathing headlines and nonsensical hit pieces about this story.
For years, the Press has played this same old broken record. They amplify Trump’s lies and normalize his criminal dealings, while launching vicious criticisms of Biden every single chance they get.
It’s infuriating enough to see Republicans, who worship an actual convict, pretend like Biden has gravely offended them by pardoning Hunter. But what really gets me, is how corporate media is reacting to the story.
CNN said Democrats are “fuming,” and that Biden set off a “firestorm.” Fox “News” called it a “true travesty.” Politico labeled it a “parting insult” by the President.
Trump nominated a family member he pardoned to be an ambassador, picked unqualified lunatics for his cabinet, and promised to upend the global order in the months ahead. But ABC, NPR, AP, WaPo, NBC, NY Times and so many others are trying to make it seem like this pardon by Biden is the scandal of the century.
Give me a break. The selective and fake outrage by corporate media is one of the biggest reasons we are in this mess in the first place.
It’s also one of the main reasons why our Watchdog Coalition is hard at work holding the press accountable, and fighting back against Trump and his cult members harder than ever before.
We forced Gaetz out, and over the last 2 weeks we’ve sent more than 46,000 letters to Senators from their constituents—demanding they reject Patel, Bondi, Hegseth, “Dr.” Oz, Kennedy, Gabbard, and recess appointments.
With one of the largest social media networks in politics, we’re pushing unmatched messaging campaigns, mobilizing our coalition for the road ahead. And I want you to be a part of it—because together, we are unstoppable.
