This feels like a prime spot for the Hornets to win a game. Everyone’s opinion of them could not be lower after they lost to the worst team in the league last night. They’re playing a back to back against a relatively healthy and rested 76ers team that’s getting back star big man Joel Embiid. Meanwhile the Hornets are down their two best players, their starting center, and their best bench player. The 76ers won all three of the previous meetings with less of an injury advantage. So naturally watch the Hornets get hot and randomly pick one off.

The absences for Miller, Ball, and Williams shouldn’t be a concern. Williams and Ball are clearly not playing back to backs as they work back from their previous injuries. Miller was questionable on Thursday, but it seems the team has decided to play it safe and wait until they come home on Monday to give him a chance to suit up.

Let’s see how this goes.
