After a year of ‘exponential’ growth, the reality star is ‘fearless’ and ready for big change ahead

DORIT Kemsley is ready to file for divorce from husband PK ‘any day now’ as their marriage is ‘very much done’ after their separation, a source has told The U.S. Sun.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star being ready to take the plunge comes as she feels “empowered” watching back her fiery and fearless behavior on this season of the Bravo show.

RHOBH fans have seen a stronger and more “activated” side of Dorit during season 14 as she navigates her “new normal” of life separated from husband PK.
The couple married in 2015 and have documented their marital life with their two young kids on the reality series since the Connecticut native joined in season 7.
Though they shared their ups and downs, fans were shocked when the couple announced their split in May 2024 – leading them both to learn how to “not be co-dependent” on each other this year.
“Dorit’s mindset has changed exponentially this year and she’s grown more than even she’s thought she could,” an insider told The U.S. Sun.
“I think she’s finally ready to file, she’s talked about needing to be ready and wanting to any day now.
“Seeing herself back on the show, this version of her that’s fearless and badass and taking no s**t from everyone lit a fire in her, reminded her what she’s capable of.
“She doesn’t need to lean on PK as much as she used to, she can stand on her own. The fan support has helped her a lot too and helped her feel empowered.”
Despite neither party filing for divorce in the seven months since they separated, the source insisted that the marriage is “done.”

“I don’t see a world where they get back together. The marriage is very much done.”
Fans have widely been impressed with Dorit, 48, this season of RHOBH as she is exposing her marital troubles, clapping back at her co-star’s critiques and using memorable one-liners to give her “best performance” of her seven years on the show.
“I’m standing beside Dorit. She handling business this season,” one person said after this week’s episode.
Another fan wrote: “Dorit hasn’t lost a single argument this season. And she’s averaging three fights per episode. That’s astonishing.”

“Dorit just snatched herself a 4 season diamond renewal with tonight’s performance,” a third quipped.
“This is Dorit’s best season hands down. She has no more f**ks to give about that man of hers and it’s carrying this season. No notes,” a viewer wrote.
On an appearance of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last month following the RHOBH premiere, Dorit gave more insight into the status of her separation.
“Things are good. We are friendly, and we’re communicating, and things are status quo.”
She then added that they were not yet divorced and at the time, it was “not even a topic of conversation” between the two.
“As long as PK and I are friendly and things are pretty normal for [our kids], they’re OK.
“When PK and I decided to separate, we didn’t know what we were going to do, so we thought, ‘Why don’t we figure it out first, so that when they’re asking us questions, we’ve got answers?’
“I’m going to be guided by my kids. If my kids are asking me questions, I’m going to be honest with them, and you kind of learn to understand what they want to hear, what they don’t, what they’re comfortable with.”

The U.S. Sun reached out to Dorit for comment.
The premiere showed Dorit breaking the news of her separation to her co-stars and she confided in close friend Erika Jayne, 53, first.
“A week ago, there was a moment and it was over nothing, and one thing led to another, and we sat down like two very mature adults who love and care about one another and mutually decided that taking some space.”
Erika was shocked and immediately began to tear up over the end of her friend’s nine-year marriage.
As of the time the episode filmed last Spring, the couple had not yet explained to their kids that they had split up.
