BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – An estimated 20 mobile homes were damaged by a severe storm Sunday night in St. Clair Township.
The Butler County Sheriff deployed the Emergency Response Services Unit (ERS) to the Linda Mobile Home Park on Trenton Road to help local fire departments.
Some mobile homes shifted off the foundation, others had roofs and siding torn off.
Scott Stewart was home when the storm hit.
“All of a sudden the windows shatter and it blew out, and then I felt some movement. They came out of my son’s room, I said get in the tub, there wasn’t any time to throw anything over or nothing and I just prayed.”
Emergency responders went door to door to make sure no one needed medical treatment. The sheriff said no one was hurt.
A shelter was set up at the Greenhills Baptist Church. The Red Cross is also helping.
The National Weather Service will examine the area Monday to determine if any tornadoes touched down.
