Saturday Night Live ‘s take on last weekend’s The White Lotus season finale had a Trump twist that included two returning alums and a Five-Timers Club member reprising their past political impressions.
The prerecorded sketch, titled “The White Potus,” on Saturday’s show opened with a zonked President Donald Trump (James Austin Johnson) in a role akin to Jason Isaacs‘ Ratliff family patriarch, Timothy, on the HBO hit. Only instead of Lorazepam, he’s dry-swallowing mini McDonald’s patties from a prescription bottle as he deals with the threat of a crumbling financial situation — this time the entire U.S. economy.
Naturally, Trump sons Donald Jr. and Eric joined in as the smoothie-making brothers (minus the incest storyline, thankfully), and this meant a reunion of Mikey Day and previous costar Alex Moffat back in their fan-favorite roles.
“I told you, Eric, if you want to be a man, you gotta start having shakes,” Day’s Trump Jr. advised, as Moffat’s dim-witted Eric started literally shaking.

Moffat, who left the cast in 2022 after six seasons, wasn’t the only former SNL star to return. Beck Bennett was also back as shirtless Vladimir Putin, a character he played multiple times during his eight seasons at Studio 8H before his 2021 exit.
But that’s not all! Six-time host — and official SNL family — Scarlett Johansson slipped back into her Ivanka Trump impression from the 2017 digital short “Complicit” for a trip to a Buddhist monastery. And just like with White Lotus‘ Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook), the thought of having to give up “greed and material possessions” was just too much for her to bear.
The night’s host and musical guest also got in on the fun. Jon Hamm made a Walton Goggins–esque appearance as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who brought a syringe full of active measles virus along on the trip, and pulled a knife to kill and eat one of the resort’s native monkeys.
Meanwhile, Lizzo recreated the scene of Natasha Rothwell‘s Belinda finding a major change in her finances. “Oh my God, there’s $5 million in my bank account,” she exclaimed, only to reveal, “It was 20 million last week.”

The short also featured a quick shot taken from the actual White Lotus’ finale of Jon Gries (Greg/Gary),the drama’s only three-season cast member, winking at the camera. Things ended on a chaotic note, with Trump contemplating shooting Uncle Sam before an unholy reveal involving Kenan Thompson as Tiger Woods.
