Taylor Swift is in her auntie era. Following the birth of Brittany and Patrick Mahomes’s third child, a daughter named Golden Raye, the pop star reportedly gave the newborn her go-to baby gift. 

According to Page Six, Swift “handmade a baby blanket” for the couple’s new bundle of joy—a tradition she has upheld for nearly all of her famous friends’s kids. “Taylor is so looking forward to meeting Brittany and Patrick’s baby girl and she couldn’t be more thrilled for her friends,” a source told the outlet, adding that the thoughtful gift has a special significance for Swift.

“Taylor’s aunt knitted her a baby blanket when she was a child so it’s always had a special meaning for her and something she wanted to do for her friends,” the insider continued. “It’s become a tradition for Taylor, something she loves doing and something that can’t be bought. It comes from the heart.”

Swift also sent fellow WAG Chariah Gordon—who is engaged to Travis Kelce’s teammate Mecole Hardman Jr.—the same baby gift following the arrival of the couple’s daughter, Ci, while she was on tour in Europe. “It’s so freaking cute and so thoughtful,” Gordon previously told Glamour. “So she, in between shows…was keeping my kids super near.”

As for the Mahomes, they announced the arrival of Golden Raye earlier this week with the sweetest black-and-white photo. “•Golden Raye Mahomes•1/12/25🎀✨,” Brittany wrote alongside a snapshot of her and her football star husband holding Golden’s tiny feet above a wooden plaque with their baby girl’s name on it. The couple is already parents to a daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and a son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 2.
