London Fletcher spent 16 years in the NFL, winning the Super Bowl in only his second season. Seven of Fletcher’s 16 seasons were spent with the then-Washington Redskins.
Since retiring, Fletcher has joined Washington’s radio booth alongside Washington media personality and former ESPN anchor Bram Weinstein. Together, they comprise a fun duo that does not lack excitement, especially in close games.
Weinstein and Fletcher’s calls have gained national attention in several of Washington’s close wins. On Sunday, Fletcher and Weinstein had their most memorable call yet in the Commanders‘ 23-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
We have video of the duo’s calls thanks to the “Bram Cam” that focuses on Weinstein and Fletcher.
Here’s their latest gem after Gonzalez barely made a 37-yard field goal to give Washington its first playoff win in 19 years.
Enjoy.
It doesn’t get any better than that.
The Commanders’ last playoff win before Fletcher signed with Washington, while their most recent came 11 years after his retirement.
Next up for the Commanders is a date with the top-seeded Detroit Lions.
