Where’s the album SZA? The R&B star announced on Instagram the Deluxe version of her hit 2022 album ‘SOS’ will release on Friday. The album is titled “Lana.”

New albums tend to drop at midnight of the date, but SZA posted on Instagram that she will be delaying the release until Friday morning.

“Full deluxe drops first thing tomorrow am,” SZA announced in the caption. “Had to get my mixes right lol. All songs are delivered and ingesting into the system as we speak. Pls be kind.. we been up for days.”

The same Instagram post also announced the release of the music video for her new song “Drive/Crybaby” featuring actor Ben Stiller.

When will SZA’s album drop?

As of 11:30 a.m. East Coast time the album is still not out, but maybe SZA meant the morning in the West Coast.

The album is available for pre-add on Apple Music and pre-save on Spotify.

More artists are opting out of the untraditional Friday midnight release. Tyler, the Creator released his latest album ‘Chromakopia’ on a Monday morning, and rapper Kendrick Lamar released his album ‘GNX’ on a Friday afternoon last month.
