The first major awards show of the year, the “82nd Golden Globe Awards” celebrated the best in film and television on Sunday night. If you missed the ceremony, here is everything you need to know about how and where to watch it.
Where can I watch the 2025 Golden Globes?
The ceremony, often referred to as “Hollywood’s Party of the Year,” was streamed live on Paramount+ in the U.S. and was available on-demand for subscribers with Showtime. Paramount+ Essential members will be able to stream the show beginning Monday.

Who were the winners at the 2025 Golden Globe?
Adrien Brody earned his first Golden Globe for his leading role in “The Brutalist,” which also claimed best drama motion picture. Brady Corbet, who co-wrote and directed the film, was awarded best director, solidifying the movie’s dominance after entering the night with seven nominations.
On the musical or comedy side, Jacques Audiard’s “Emilia Pérez” emerged as another major winner. The film led all contenders with 10 nominations and was named Best Musical or Comedy Motion Picture. Zoe Saldaña won Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy and the movie also took home Best Original Song, adding to its tally. Audiard was recognized with nominations for directing, screenplay, and songwriting.
The thriller “Conclave,” which delves into the secretive election of a new pope, secured the best screenplay award after receiving six nominations.
In television, “The Bear” continued its streak as a favorite among critics. While it led all shows with five nominations, its star Jeremy Allen White claimed the show’s only trophy of the night for best actor in a television come.
Who hosted the Golden Globes?
Comedian Nikki Glaser made history as the first woman to solo host the Golden Globe Awards. Glaser, who was announced as host in August, earned the role following her standout performance on Comedy Central’s “The Roast of Tom Brady.”
