“The White Lotus” star Aimee Lou Wood fired back at “Saturday Night Live” after the NBC sketch show performed a parody of the character, Chelsea.

“I did find the ‘SNL’ thing mean and unfunny,” Wood posted in a series of Instagram Stories, per Entertainment Weekly.

“Such a shame cuz I had such a great time watching it a couple weeks ago,” she wrote on another slide. “Yes, take the piss for sure — that’s what the show is about — but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?”

The sketch, titled “The White Potus,” showed members of the Trump family and their political allies as White Lotus characters.

“The White Lotus” star posted another Instagram story saying, “I’ve had apologies from ‘SNL.‘” The actress, per The Hollywood Reporter, didn’t clarify who from the show reached out about the sketch.
