A new season of ABC’s popular dating show, The Bachelor, is set to premiere on Monday, Jan. 27. Grant Ellis is getting a second chance at love after his emotional exit from The Bachelorette. Who are the The Bachelor Season 29 contestants hoping to find their forever with Ellis?

Bachelor Nation first met the 31-year-old day trader from New Jersey on Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette. Although Tran sent him home in Week 6, his journey in the franchise didn’t end there, as ABC named him to lead the 29th season of The Bachelor in August 2024. He is the second-ever Black male lead in the franchise’s long-running history.

In early January, ABC introduced the 25 contestants vying for Ellis’ heart. The group, aged 21 to 31, hails from locations such as Canada, North Dakota, Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, and more. Their professions range from a mechanical engineer to interior designer to wedding planner and venture capitalist.
