Who Got the 1st Impression Rose on Grant Ellis’ ‘Bachelor’ Season?
According to Reality Steve, it is Alexe Godin who got the first impression rose from Grant. She made quite the entrance to the Bachelor mansion on night one, pulling up with a “no drama llama,” which was seen in one of the previews ahead of the season premiere.
The 1st Impression Rose Comes With a Twist
Ahead of the season 29 premiere, ABC revealed that this season’s first impression rose will come with a twist.
“With a bold, new twist on the traditional first impression rose, making a strong connection has never been more crucial,” a press release from the network said.
Reality Steve reported that the twist was that the first impression rose recipient also got the first one-on-one date with Grant of the season. This means Alexe will be going on the first solo outing with Grant, according to the blogger.
In the previews for the season, Grant is seen sitting at a piano singing to Alexe. According to Reality Steve, their date will be shown in episode two of the season. Based on the blogger’s predicted eliminations, Alexe is likely receive a rose on the date, securing her spot in the competition for another week. Four other girls will be eliminated at the rose ceremony.

Who Is Alexe Godin?
Alexe “is a small-town girl looking for a big-time love,” according to her ABC bio. She is a pediatric speech therapist from New Brunswick, Canada.
She “grew up on a farm surrounded by goats, bunnies and chickens, which led to her lifelong love of animals.”
It seems like she has several hobbies that align with Grant and they are both hard working individuals.
“In her free time, she loves to travel, play beach volleyball, and make all her friends laugh,” the bio says. “Alexe is bubbly, fluent in French and always knows how to get the party started. She is ready to find the man of her dreams and wants someone who is open-minded, hardworking and an all-around good human.”
Grant Ellis Hinted There Will Be Some Drama on ‘The Bachelor’
Before his journey to finding love aired on TV, Grant teased that there was some drama while filming his season.
“Some drama is good. Not too much, but a little bit,” he said during a Good Morning America appearance prior to the season premiere. “There’s a little bit of drama. That’s what happens when there’s emotions involved. I think we’ve come to a resolution.”
The day trader also praised the group of women who opened their hearts for a chance at love with him.
“I think the thing that really brought us all together was what they were here for, and that was love,” he said during the talk show appearance. “I think that everybody was genuine, everybody was unique and everybody was willing to be open.”
Season 29 of The Bachelor premieres on Monday, January 27, on ABC at 8 p.m. ET and will stream the next day on Hulu.
