πŸŽ₯ Son Heung-min scoring straight from a corner was something special πŸ”₯

Tottenham’s EFL Cup quarter final win over Manchester United was the definition of a comedy of errors, but even in that, Son Heung-min’s Olimpico was something to be remembered.

After finding themselves three goals to the good early into the second half, Spurs proceeded to almost throw away the game, with Fraser Forster gifting two goals to RΓΊben Amorim’s side.

United looked the more likely to get the sixth goal, and force a penalty shootout, until Son stepped up to take a corner in the 88th minute.

His looping effort really should not have beaten stand-in keeper Altay Bayindir, who weakly claimed Lucas Bergvall had blocked him, but it was still a brilliant piece of skill from the Spurs captain.

Did he mean it? Neither he, or Ange Postecoglou, will care as Spurs booked a semi-final date with Liverpool, and moved a step closer to ending their 17-year trophy drought.
